Feast of Nativity of Mother Mary

September 08, 2024: The feast of Nativity of Mother Mary popularly known as 'Monthi Fest' was celebrated with joy and happiness at St Sebastian Church, Permannur on Sept 8th. At the beginning the new corn and renovated Mother Marys Grotto was blessed which was sponsored by Marian Blue Star, Permannur. Then children offered flowers to Infant Mary.

Parish Priest Rev. Fr Cyprian Pinto celebrated the festal mass along with the Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Johnson Pereira.

The Parish Priest thanked each and every one who helped during the days of Novena and on feast day. Ward leaders and PPC members distributed the blessed corn to the Parishioners. Children were very happy to receive sugarcane, juice and sweets. Large number of faithful participated in the liturgical celebration.
