Rev. Fr Cyprian Pinto takes charge as the New Parish Priest of  Valencia Parish

26 May 2026:  After serving for six years at Permannur Church, it was indeed an emotional moment for the parishioners to bid farewell to their beloved priest, Rev. Fr Cyprian Pinto. At 4:30 p.m., a small prayer service was held in the church, after which he proceeded to Valencia. He officially took charge of the parish from the outgoing parish priest, Fr Roque DSa.

Fr Cyprian Pinto was accompanied by Permannur's new parish priest, Fr Andrew Leo Dsouza; Assistant Priest Fr Melwyn DSouza; Parish Council Vice President Arun Dsouza &   all Church committees and around 900 parishioners from Permannur parish.
